Our People

The Yellowhammer Team

We’re a tight-knit team of construction professionals who care deeply about doing things right. With backgrounds in field work, engineering, contract negotiation, and owner-side representation, we bring practical insight and strong advocacy to every engagement.

  • Founder & Principal Consultant

With hands-on experience in general contracting and owner representation, Michael brings detailed knowledge and a strong command of negotiation and change order strategy. He comes from humble beginnings working as a rodbuster in the Southern Summer heat. To date he has supported $15B+ in projects across healthcare, advanced tech, aerospace, education, and government sectors — leveraging his construction background and leadership experience to advocate for owners from day one.

He has built multi-family, commercial, and healthcare projects from the ground up and knows the ins and outs of the electrical industry. He is a master electrician in the state of Alabama and served as a board member in the Jefferson County electrical board of appeals for 14 years.

Let’s build something beautiful.
